LINK’S SHADOW
Here’s another great video game themed digital short film from the talented folks over at Corridor Digital. This time it’s the Legend of Zelda that gets the cinematic treatment and in return we get a 4 minute epic and brutal live action interpretation of a beloved NIntendo franchise.
The story is basically about a group of hunters who comes across a certain demonic version of the Hero of Time. A battle then ensues between the hunters, the demon and the only person who can stop this shadowy villain.
It’s a stunning presentation and I would love to see Corridor Digital get some backing to make a long form video game adaptation someday. If you like this epic short film, be sure to check out their live action short film based on Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, The Cyber War.

LEGEND OF ZELDA: LIFE METER SHOT GLASSES
Rockhart released a set of four shot glasses with pixel hearts for gamers to display their life and intoxication meter. At the bottom of each glass is a pixel skull to signal that it’s game over for that beloved shot and game on for you.
Remember to drink responsibility or you might wake up in the middle of Termina with one hell of a hangover transformed into a Deku Scrub or without pants. Not that any of those things have ever happened to anyone on staff before….*cough* Eric. *cough* The Legend of Zelda inspired shot glass set is $33.
